On this day the aim is to survey the Langton Wallis acid grassland field for waxcaps, and potentially also have a look on the Isolation Hospital field to see what we can find. Parking will be on the Hartland field opposite Hartland Stud (see What3words). From there it is a ca. 15 minutes walk to Langton Wallis field.

Please take the following with you for the day:

  • Your own lunch and drink
  • Appropriate clothing and footwear (including waterproofs)
  • A hand lens
  • A pen and notebook (optional)
  • Any fungi ID guides you have (some will be made available as well)

For this survey, we will spend a number of hours in the field, followed by an optional indoor session to further look at and identify our samples.

If you hope to join this survey, please register below. For any questions, please get in touch via: Jasper@purbeckecology.org.uk.
