Hi all,

For Wednesday the 7th of August the History Forum has planned a Dragonfly survey and training session at RSPB Stoborough & Creech Heath. We will walk together over the reserve and do timed counts at ca. 3 different ponds on each reserve. Besides the times counts there will be sufficient time to look at the species together and learn from each other. This is a perfect session for beginners as well as experienced Odonata lovers! The provisional schedule is as follows:

10.00: start at Furzebrook village hall

10.00 – 12.00: survey on RSPB Stoborough Heath

12.00 -13.00: Lunch and move to Creech Heath

13.00 – 15.30: survey on Creech Heath

If you are interested to join this day, please register your attendance below.

For on the day, make sure to take:

  • Your lunch/ snacks
  • Sufficient drink
  • Sun protection (i.e. hat, sun screen, etc
