Lichen survey

This is the first official gathering of the lichen group. The first few sessions will be mainly to familiarise ourselves with Cladonia lichens, as well as the specific key that we will be using.
On this day, we meet up at 10.00 at the Arne office (https://w3w.co/caves.until.decks). We will spend time out in the field looking at lichens at the Arne Reserve, but also have the option to spend time inside looking at samples. Stereo microscopes are available if desirable. Please note that this is a very informal group, and time spend outside/ inside will depend on the day and the weather.
Please bring following:
- Suitable clothing to be out in the field
- A hand lens
- Any lichen ID books
- Lunch and drink (there will be coffee & tea available in the office)
