This is the third gathering of the lichen group. The first few sessions will be mainly to familiarise ourselves with Cladonia lichens, as well as the specific key that we will be using.
For this session we will go to the Studland dunes. Start of the event is 10AM and parking is at Knoll Beach. When you enter the carpark, a camera will register your number plate, but as we are all volunteering there will not be any parking fees. Please park as close as possible to the cafe.
Please bring following:
- Suitable clothing to be out in the field
- A hand lens
- Any lichen ID books
- Lunch and drink (there will be coffee & tea available in the office)
