This Wednesday we will be doing the second bare ground species survey in Rempstone. As a group we will explore part of the Forest England Rempstone area whereby our main focus will be on our bare ground priority species such as Purbeck Mason wasp, Heath/wood Tiger beetle, Green Tiger beetle, Sand lizard, Heath-bee fly and Mottled-bee fly. But we will also record other important species which we will find on our way such as Odonata and butterflies. Rempstone is still a very much under recorded area and every record is welcome. This survey is also great for those who are not yet very familiar with Rempstone and like to discover it. For a complete overview of species we might come across see this link.

For this day we will meet up and park at Greenlands Farm (link).

Please take:

  • Your lunch
  • Sufficient water/ drink
  • Binoculars
  • Camera (if desirable)

  • Sun protection

Please do sign up below if you are planning to join us on the day.
