This is the next event in a series of Bioblitzes planned for this year. Following on from the vascular plant workshop led by Robin Walls last year, we aim to visit different areas of the Purbeck Heaths on a monthly basis. During these sessions, we will focus on some of our priority species, while also recording any notable vascular plants we encounter.
During this Bioblitz, we will visit the Fen Arm on Hartland Moor. We will record all species of interest, and have specific look for the Lesser Butterfly orchid.
The plan is to meet up at this location along Soldiers Road, opposite Hartland Stud.
