The Spring Walk marks the official start of our yearly monitoring season, and we’re excited to continue this cherished tradition! Each year, we explore a fascinating part of the stunning Purbeck landscape on a guided walk while looking ahead to the opportunities the new season brings.
This year, we’ll begin our event at Furzebrook Village Hall, where we’ll gather over coffee and tea. A short presentation will introduce you to the monitoring plans for the coming year with the Purbeck Natural History Forum, giving you a glimpse of what to expect and how to get involved.
Following the presentation, we’ll set off on a guided walk across Creech Heaths NNR, led by experts from Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (ARC). This will be a fantastic opportunity to explore one of Purbeck’s incredible natural habitats while learning more about its wildlife and conservation efforts.
A detailed agenda will be shared closer to the event date, but for now, if you’re planning to join us, please register below. Your registration helps us plan ahead and ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
We can’t wait to welcome you and look forward to sharing another inspiring start to the season with you all!
